Smyle celebrates 1st year with Best New Company Award

The Smyle team, who opened their Events office in St Albans, Hertfordshire last December, has plenty to celebrate after an explosive first year.
Smyle won the CEA’s (Corporate Event Association) ‘Best New Company’ at their annual awards bash, held on November 25th at London Zoo.
Smyle has produced creative conferences, parties and product launches for a cross-section of clients such as Barclays, Ernst & Young, Asda, British American Tobacco and Guards Polo Club, as well as for private established individuals from the Times Rich list.
“This time last year, we were just launching into the corporate and private markets ; 12 months on and we have successfully produced a stunning variety of creative events as well as currently working on a number of significant concepts for delivery in 2005 and 2006,” comments Smyle’s Events Director, Rick Stainton.
“It is true to say the Events and Productions teams are both buzzing from a great year,” continues Stainton, “and we are all very proud of the CEA award as recognition from the industry of our achievements – but from a client’s perspective, you are only as good as the last event you delivered for them - so now we must concentrate hard on maintaining the growth of the Smyle brand and reputation in 2005.”
