reason / objective

To shoot and edit a modern, funky promotional look at a day in the life of model and make-up artist Jemma Kidd to be shown to VIP guests at the worldwide launch of the BlackBerry Pearl mobile Handset.

 

concept / solution

Commissioned by BlackBerry to promote the new BlackBerry Pearl handset
the Smyle crew spent two days with Jemma Kidd filming her on locations around London including Harrods.
The Smyle crew shot on DVCPro HD combining this with Prime lenses and cool filters ensuring the final video was of the highest quality.
The four day edit was prepared on Final Cut Pro.
The video was embedded in a flash player that allowed guests to view either the BlackBerry Pearl advert or the Day in the life of Jemma Kidd video on the same screen at the worldwide launch that was organised by Smyle in London.
